This was the perfect replacement and solution for the bathtub modernization. The new Kohler Brush nickel mounts forced me to replace the bar. However, the width was not standard; wider than 18 feet shorter than 24 feet. It took me a while to find this as it's about 21'. Also a nice new shower head so couldn't figure out how to add a clumsy holder. Instead, this shelf offers enough space and a bar to keep items from tipping over. I installed it and it is very durable. I was concerned that it didn't have a spider pole and could be pulled off the wall. No, although you place and remove the towel carefully just in case. Also, it was one piece, with no assembly, so it adds strength as there are no loose parts. I like the bar and the shelf. Oh, put the shampoo and conditioner on the shelf too and they wouldn't budge. Normal size so I don't recommend big bottles. Finally, 2 ordinary towels are placed with a triple fold. For my thicker large towels I used a four fold. Washed clothes can also be placed on the top shelf to speed up drying. All in all it was the perfect solution for my many needs!
