I've always had traditional duvets, never Sherpa lined. Boy this thing is SOFT! I have a queen size which is too big for one person but shame it's mine and I wrap myself in it and it's so warm and feels so good against my skin. It's not as hard as I thought. The whole blanket is heavy when you lift it up, but when you lie down as a blanket it almost seems to float above you. It's hard to describe. The blanket is large and therefore heavy, but when you're covered with it, it's lighter than you might think. I love it. I don't know how it will work in the summer, I may have to replace it with something simpler. But great for the winter.
