The price totally hooked me from the moment I opened it to the moment I needed to recharge the batteries and fly again surprised. The quality was great for the price. This JJRC H71 drone is worth every penny. Comes in a nice case with maintenance tools, 4 protective sleeves, 1 spare propeller set, 2 flight batteries, USB charger and clear instructions. Comes ready to fly and fully assembled. You only need 4 AA batteries for the remote control. Not being a drone expert, I suggest reading the manuals and becoming familiar with your new drone before you get excited and go flying. Following the manufacturer's instructions made my first flight a success as can be seen in my video. Optical flow positioning was enabled for the first part of my flight, which limited my flight position to about 35 feet. The drone will flicker at maximum optical altitude, letting you know you've reached the optical flow positioning maximum altitude. The optical flow is great for selfie photography, low-altitude shooting, indoor shooting and for novice pilots. It uses a small camera on the underside of the drone to determine its altitude and position. Something like a cheap GPS. I land halfway on the video and turn off optical flow positioning, which now allows me to fly at higher altitudes. The video shows 32 degrees Fahrenheit, wind 7-10 m/s, sunset. The video and photo quality is excellent for its size. Revain compresses the size of videos and photos when uploading. So expect the best quality on your device after recording videos or taking photos with this drone. *The only problem I found was that the JJRC TST app that you are supposed to download never worked with my H71 JJRC drone. In the instructions you can download the application so that you can save videos and photos during the flight. It also allows you to view your flight's "FPV" in real-time on your phone. That never worked for me. Departure shortly after opening. I downloaded the "JJRC" app and it worked great. My guess is that the manufacturer updates the drone but not the instructions they send with the drone. If you search for JJRC in your app store, you will see all JJRC apps in a popup window. Download the one labeled JJRC without words like TST, FPV, Drone. With the application you can use many additional functions that I offer. I think this drone is perfect for both beginners and intermediate drone enthusiasts. This is a great little fun shoot and photo platform for those who want to get naughty for a few bucks.
