You get what you pay for

I need a cheap used Chromebook that I can write on. All in all, it was a worthy choice. Pros: 1. It's in fair condition and it's a good car. I ordered a "very good" refurbishment and I think it lives up to that standard fairly well. It's white so you can clearly see usage, but other than that everything is fine.2. The keyboard is responsive and uncluttered, which is hard to find on smaller laptops and Chromebooks.3. The screen is bright and easy to read. Cons: 1. The version of Chrome OS I have is no longer supported, which apparently means you can't download almost anything. I have Google Play on my new Chromebook and I can download most of the same apps that I have on my Galaxy S9 phone. However, on this machine basically everything I do has to be done through the Chrome browser, which again is fine for my current needs but creates a problem for anyone trying to do anything other than writing or perhaps online shopping to do. . The trackpad is a little wobbly. It works fine 90% of the time, but every now and then it crashes a bit when I click on something. I think a wireless mouse should fix this.3. It was a bit of fiddling to attach the charger. In a matter of minutes, despite being plugged into the mains, the machine alternated between charging and not charging. In my case I took out the charger and just blew on the charging port and that seemed to fix the problem.

Pros
  • Computers and tablets
Cons
  • Not everything fits
