This is my second Exos-3 so I have a few of these now. They'll pair together automatically, giving you a great pair of wireless stereo speakers. You connect your phone (or other Bluetooth device) to one of them and then they automatically connect to each other. You don't need two to get stereo, but two makes for a much better sound. Turning off one speaker automatically turns off the other, which is pretty cool. I also have a pair of Exos-9s, although honestly you can't compare them to Exos-3s. The Exos-3 fits on a desk, on a shelf, and many other places where the Exos-9 doesn't. If you look at the outside of the Exos-3, it looks great. Nice two tone red/black (there is also an all black version). The big knobs on top were pretty solid. Battery/power indicators are located on the front panel. USB-C, woohoo! Sounds very good (otherwise I wouldn't have gotten two). The most important thing for me is the bass and it's pretty decent. As with any speaker, the source and location of the speakers makes a big difference. It sounds decently loud, but remember this is a small portable speaker so don't expect miracles. There are no EQ controls on the speakers, you have to set them at the source.
