The duvet was everything I expected. It is exactly as advertised. What else would you like to ask? Is it soft like synthetic? No, it's wool. The wool is a little coarse, but under the sheets it's as soft as your sheets. It's as thick as any other rug I remember growing up in as a kid in the 50's and 60's. It's warm as only wool can be, but it breathes like only natural fibers do, so I didn't get overheated with it. So if you have worn a rug before and she liked it, or if you already had a rug and liked it, then this rug will satisfy you.
