Wellage Real Hyaluronic Milk Peel is intended to be used as a leave-in product that acts as a moisturizing milk and chemical peel. The toner comes in a sealed 10 ounce clear plastic bottle and costs $34 at the time of writing this article. The milky white toner is much thicker than expected. Not watery. I really like the texture and application. After cleansing with a non-medicated cleanser, apply a few drops of this toner to a cotton pad or your hands and gently wipe or blot skin until fully absorbed, avoiding the eye area. Be sure to wash your hands before using any other skin care products. I say non-drug cleansing because this toner contains exfoliating substances that you leave behind on the skin. you don't wash it off So don't risk overdoing a chemical peel by using different exfoliating products in the same morning or evening routine. You also don't want to use a physical exfoliator like a scrub just prior to application. This milky exfoliating tonic has no 'added scent' but instead has a tart, subtle citrus scent. It also has alcohol as a sixth ingredient and bergamot oil, which disappoints me. I have mature, combination and dry acne prone sensitive skin. I consider formulations with added fragrances, essential oils and alcohol to be unnecessary and unnecessarily drying out or sensitizing some users. But that's just me. I tend to have a bad reaction and get reactive rosacea when exposed to certain ingredients. Unfortunately, bergamot and alcohol are often used in skin care products, even if the product is intended for sensitive skin. If it was free from the above elements I would love it more. Whatever the case, I must use it with caution and encourage everyone else to test it out before general use.
