I wear it like earrings. I have a cartilage and an earlobe piercing that would get me in trouble. I've been wearing them for a few months now and can honestly say they are fantastic! My ears don't hurt or become inflamed. And another plus is rock crystal. It's still shiny and bright even after wearing them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I struggled to put them back in place - mostly backwards with a large needle. God told me (I didn't suddenly get smarter, so I know it was him) to put in an ordinary earring, then put the hollow stem on the post behind the ear, and then just slide the stem through the ear. It's a two-handed process, but pretty smooth. The rhinestone is tiny but once they are in place you are done. Tighten them for the first few days and then they hold. They appear to be inserted. Now I check them sometimes. This size will also not stretch the hole in the earring. I wore them for a couple of months before going back to my regular earrings and had no problems at all. I really wanted them back because they are so carefree.
