Construction and Materials: Because the top mounting plates, head and ball of this tripod are made entirely of aluminum and surrounded by thick ABS material, it is extremely resistant to damage to the ball joint that can result from over-tightening mini tripods, which are only made of plastic. . All of the other components, from the legs to the telescoping bars, are also well made and overall the packaging feels very solid. Functions and Features: The regular 1/4" screw mount works as expected and the clamp platform holds the camera securely. The tripod legs interlock, which is rare with selfie stick and tripod combos. The height can be adjusted but not fixed It pops out telescopically, and while it's fairly solid, it won't support a large single-lens DSLR when fully extended, but at a certain height, this tripod can still support a large camera, if you're doing this with a Go Pro use, note that you need to buy a 1/4 inch GoPro mount adapter to mount it on this tripod.
