Review on NYX Professional Makeup Eyeshadow Base 💄 Primer - White, 0.25 oz (Single Pack) by Elizabeth Morales

I spent some time creating and editing a video review before realizing that the Revain review format (at least for smaller articles) had changed and no longer allowed video attachments. What a pity. Anyway, in the video I'm testing Nyx Eyeshadow Base and Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance with one product per eye. I preferred the creamy texture of the Nyx product to the runny texture of Shadow Insurance. I also preferred the Nyx Pot to the Shadow Insurance Tube. I felt that the Nyx cream in the jar gave me more control over how much product to apply and where. This isn't a convincing win over Nyx. My eyelids are very sensitive to many cosmetics and none of the products bothered me. I am also very sensitive to odors and no product has bothered me in terms of smell. As for makeup adjustments during or after application (when I made a mistake or wanted to correct something) I found it very difficult to do this with Shadow Insurance. and slightly easier with Nyx Shadow Base. I know a lot of people love Shadow Insurance for its durable qualities, but I'd rather have a little latitude in customizing my look than a durable look - that's just my preference. I find a big difference in the durability of these products, but I think Shadow Insurance came out on top. In price comparison, the Nyx Eye Shadow Base is almost half the price of Too Faced's Shadow Insurance, although the quantity of the Get product isn't that different to justify the cost in my opinion (the Nyx product is 0.21 oz and the Too Faced product weighs 0.35 ounces). So if your most important thing is keeping your makeup in place for many hours after it's applied, and you're skilled enough not to make many changes to your look, Too Faced Shadow Insurance is probably your best bet. If, like me, you prefer a creamier, more user-friendly product that is easier to use, I would recommend Nyx Eye Shadow Base. If I would buy one product again it would be Nyx Eye Shadow Base.
