More expensive audio cables do not improve sound quality; strong and durable cable

I bought this cable based on the positive reviews and need for a shorter 3.5mm headphone audio cable. However, this cable does the job just like any other audio cable. Barring build quality or faulty materials, an audio cable is highly unlikely to change the sound quality of what you're listening to (this is aimed at reviewers who mention that a more expensive cable improves your listening experience). . Double blind testing shows that any CORRECTLY manufactured audio cable will produce the same output signal. Research materials, connectors, etc. and buy an audio cable based on utility. Focus your budget on the more important aspects of your audio setup. Now for the cable itself: the cable came well packaged in a small envelope, wrapped around and secured with a velcro type zip tie. It unwinds very easily and has little cable storage. This is because the nylon braid shield is extremely strong. The cable doesn't bend easily, but because of this shielding, it follows the bends. Entanglement will not occur unless heavily enforced. Because of this durable hard shield, anything rubbing against this cable will transfer extremely audible noise to the headphones. It is best used as an auxiliary cable for a car, speaker or other external system. It looks and feels solid with a gold plating and metal body. The stepped ends of the connector are useful for connecting to sources with narrow holes (e.g. phone cases, some headphones). Time will tell if the cable will hold up, but daily use won't cause immediate wear and tear. I will update if anything changes.
