Review on StrataCloud SDI by Arnold Carrigan

Everything I love about Citrix (thin client access, desktop application delivery/management) but without all that bloat installed locally! If there's something you miss using your normal citrix system it will be available in this solution too - at least until you build everything yourself with no middle man :). The price tag has been prohibitive so far since we need to deliver large amounts of clients for specific verticals at least monthly as new products come onboard or our system migrates from older models. Our users are mobile first- world companies working remotely who also often have multiple locations where they can't install software themselves either due cost or infrastructure considerations (and sometimes both!). It really streamlines their experience by removing any barriers other than budget when trying out different things. I like that it allows me to control my applications and data in the cloud. It's easy to use, and it's secure. I dislike that there is no way to share files with other users. I wish it allowed for file sharing.
