This blackhead mask set comes in beautiful packaging and could very well be a gift. You will receive a tube of activated charcoal face mask, an applicator and a revitalizing serum. I really like that it contains a vitamin C serum because it usually leaves your pores open after using charcoal masks, which can cause more problems. The Acne Mask is pretty standard for its kind. It's a thick, resinous, shiny liquid that spreads easily with an applicator. Don't bring it to your hair or eyebrows because that's a painful mistake. I leave the mask on until it's completely dry (some areas dry much faster than others but resist the urge), then take it off. I find it always leaves my skin a little angry and red for a while because it's a little fiddly to remove. The inner layer of the mask shows any blackheads that have been pulled to the surface. That's the satisfying part because you know she did her job. I then apply a layer of serum to my face which refreshes and cools. Face serum is good for drying pores, which helps them close, and also has antibacterial properties to reduce the chance of acne coming back. I also like the Spot On Serum for any blemishes to calm them down and dry them out a bit. Overall I think this is a great set if you are looking for an exfoliating mask and not bad price.
