I am an insulin dependent diabetic. I use about 5-7 needles a day. Everyone in this boat knows how quickly medical waste accumulates. Bottle after bottle of sharps that need to be disposed of properly. Then, every two years, when I walk to the hazardous waste collection point at the nearest landfill, I feel uncomfortable and disgusted with my huge bag of medical instruments that need to be destroyed. The views you get from people whose first thought is always "drugs" rather than the more reasonable "diabetic" reasoning. These handy little trinkets save me the hassle of having to deal with everything! After the injection I just cut off the end of the syringe with a needle and wow, now I can safely throw it straight into my regular trash can! No more landfills to the hazardous waste container! No more bags of used needles! Just a tiny clip that I can hide away practically forever, or until I finally find the time to get them, like 7 years later, because why go to such a gargantuan expense for a full clipper? That's great. I wish I had heard about this years ago. I buy these all the time.
