The new brush is smaller, much smaller, which is good for applying to the corners of the eyes and lower lashes, but the problem is that it also clumps on the brush itself, making it difficult to get even coverage out of the box - it's a bit maneuver and takes getting used to. It's kind of a wet formula, so if you've curled your lashes before, it really doesn't last. For a better curl, use a heated curling iron after drying. This is a mascara in a tube that lasts all day until dampened with warm water and then just clumps off. Lasts all day, doesn't smudge, doesn't need to be reapplied. Good for people with oily face/eyelids and people living in humid areas.
