Review on Enhanced Mobile Pixels Portable Monitor with Upgraded Dual Screen Kickstand - 14", 1920X1080, by Tim Cromer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Wearable but not 5 stars

I bought a Duex Pro portable monitor to help me when I'm away from my desk. The display is very light and portable (5 stars for portability) but has many major disadvantages: 1. It significantly adds weight to your laptop display's hinges when they are attached. My MacBook's display hinges are loose and the original screen now falls off easily. (I'm concerned about the damage caused) 2. The resolution of the Duex Pro monitor, although 1080p, is very clumsy and text is difficult for anyone to read. It hurt eyes when used for a long time.3. The display quality is not very good for the price. Colors deviate from the original RGB ratios. Also, the transition of application windows is not smooth. The price for this is not justified. Especially when I can buy a $329 iPad and use it as a secondary display with the sidebar feature (much smoother, btw). The hardware quality is not very good. Gliding across the display isn't always smooth and I worry about breaking it. Also, prying the display out of the bracket requires serious force on the laptop's display hinge, which is another big problem and seriously damages the laptop in the long run. Overall Rating: Average (3/5)
