Last night I spent my first night with this pillow. It may take a while to get used to because my last pillow was Talalay Queen Size Low Loft Pillow. The move from LoLoft to HighLoft is the biggest change. I don't have a neck pain this morning so that's a good sign. As for the gel-filled part, I didn't have to turn the pillow multiple times a night. I really enjoyed that! I have to say Malouf makes amazing cushions! As a disabled vet with severe back and neck pain, I have used over 20 pillows costing over $100 each. When I got my first Malouf pillow it was a LowLoft and it broke within a year so I switched to a HighLoft. Latex pillows are incredibly comfortable
