I have a 100 year old piano that I have used as a desk for many years. For the sake of my health I decided I needed a table to sit and stand on, but I didn't want to give up my antique table. The stand is a creative way to elevate your keyboard and free up space for your mouse and keyboard on uneven surfaces. Being a musician and mixing music from my desktop, the creative solution also gave me the option to remove the midi keyboard. When I'm done with that, I simply place the keyboard on top of the piano and remove the stand. One thing I noticed (and you can see in the photos) is that this stand will slip if you have a hard top (glass) on your desk. I've decided to use a rubber mat temporarily to prevent slipping, but I'll put rubber feet on it when I get a chance.
