I bought this shoe for work, I'm a nurse. I usually wear Brooks Ghost shoes to work, which are perfect for comfort without the need for additional orthotics, but I wanted something with a non-slip sole so a colleague recommended Vionic. At first I wasn't sure if I liked The Vionic, they didn't feel soft enough, but I wore them to work anyway. The arch support is excellent and almost identical to the pair of custom orthotics the podiatrist made for me. They're a bit wide for me, so I'm glad I bought shoes with laces, not slip-ons. There aren't enough cushions so I had to buy extra shock absorbing socks. The slip resistance works well. I wish they were waterproof. I also wish they had a thicker sole, I feel like I'll lose 2 inches in height wearing them. Overall I am happy with them and will keep them, but they are not perfect so my search continues. They are easy to wear to work.
