OMG, this case is AWESOME! I'm so glad they released this color, just crossing my fingers now that they will eventually come out with a backplate so I can complete the look (and maybe a d-pad for the left controller). They feel very smooth, but I actually prefer the smooth texture of the original joycon. It was easy for me to install everything, but I had moved my Switch several times before so I had a good idea of how it would work. I didn't use the tools/screws that came with it, so I can't comment on their quality, but the quality of the cases is excellent. The buttons come in a mold and you have to push them out, so I had to file the edges a bit to remove the sharp points. I used their SR/SL buttons only for the sides of the joycons, I preferred the look/texture of the regular black buttons for the front (but that's just my aesthetic). I also want the middle part of each joycon to be two-tone instead of black, so there's a little black stripe between the R/L and ZR/ZL buttons. All the buttons work great, the only thing I noticed is that the ZR/ZL buttons don't have the same springy action as the original buttons, but they still click great and it doesn't affect gameplay. All the parts fit together perfectly and I didn't have to file the edges, unlike the bass register body.
