That! First I removed the small shelf at the back of our closets. This was easy to do with a hammer by simply tapping it off as it was only held in place with finishing nails. This gave me the full depth of cabinet to work with. It's important to get this square (template provided) and place it far enough away from the edge that the cabinet door will close when it's closed. Again, a template is provided for this. Fold it along the line, with the door open, place it on the front edge of the bottom of the closet and it will show you where to drill four holes to attach the rails to the bottom of the closet. As some other users have suggested, I used longer/bigger bolts for more strength. All of our baking trays and cutting boards fit in here.
