Look you get what you pay for. This thing is cheap and it works like a cheap one. The grips on the side don't slide out very easily, so getting the phone out of the holder can be difficult. The clip at the rear can be put into an air vent in the car and the part works fine - the problem is that the ball joint at the rear is a terrible loss. I often twisted the mount at odd angles when turning even though I had tightened the mount several times. It's just bad design. If you really need a mount and don't want to invest in something more expensive, that's fine. Take it. This will get the job done. But you'll probably get annoyed with it pretty quickly.
