I had a hard time finding a sleeping bag with sleeves for my 9 month old baby. It fits perfectly and the fabric is very comfortable and soft. It's pretty cold here at night so I wanted to keep them warm and it definitely is. She was 8 months old at the time, weighed 19 pounds and was 27 inches long. My only advice is to downsize! When I bought it I was concerned she would outgrow it so I got the size 12-18 months but when it arrived I thought it might fit my 4 year old. We returned it for a size 6-12 months and even then I have to roll up my sleeves once or it's too long. Of course, the length on the legs doesn't bother me, but even after 3-4 washes it is very roomy and lasts a long time. She is by no means a small child. She is now 10 months old and weighs 21 pounds so I don't think she would fit a baby under 6 months.
