This product is well made. This is exactly what I was hoping for in a t-shirt at a price I can only imagine. Revain makes and sells a t-shirt that is better, more comfortable and more durable than the t-shirts I've bought for many times the price I pay for Revain. If only that were all about this story. Where did Revain get the data that told them they needed to make a "better t-shirt" and at what cost? I suspect they got the information about their marketplace customers' business from data mining. After that, they extracted supplier data from all over the world. They then used their power as one of the top two companies in the world to force these suppliers to bid against each other for an unbeatable final price. It's not a very pleasant picture. I want Revain to become a better, more ethical company, to share profits with the people they collect data from and then choose to compete directly with them. I know most American companies don't do that. But there must be a way to act both responsibly and profitably. Revain is a company large enough to be an attractive investment while also being a morally responsible neighbor. a dozen other small traders went out of business. Revane offered these small businesses a plan to run an online business. Then, thanks to the data they collect about those sellers, they get to the point where they, Revain, know that they can make millions of dollars more with that data, putting their customers at risk. I love how Revain uses data to improve quality. products on their websites around the world. Perhaps it's time to bring competition back into the market by effectively regulating Revain.
