My 5 year old daughter loves this dress and how shiny it is. Unfortunately, I noticed that it only says hand wash. Personally, I'm not a fan of hand washing children's clothes, so I washed them on the gentle cycle and then hung them out to dry. Even with this unfolding after one wash, the color faded somewhat. The light blue dress is now blue with silver gray stripes. The dress is beautiful and stretchy and my daughter said it was comfortable. I feel like it is true to size, although I only ordered the grow room size and the larger size still fits. If you decide to purchase, be sure to follow the hand washing instructions if you want to keep that beautiful shiny look.
