This Foot Up Orthosis or AFO is amazing! First of all, make sure that the laces of the sneakers cross between the strap that attaches to the ankle. My foot fell badly from nerve damage in a near-fatal motorcycle accident. I've been wearing a custom carbon fiber AFO for both the drop foot and ankle for almost a year. In October 2019 I had a bowstring graft in my midfoot to support the outside of my ankle. After surgery and the need for another custom carbon fiber AFO and PT, I just switched to this Up Foot and it's like walking on clouds with no pain.
