Review on In The Breeze 2973 Rainbow Wind Spinner by David Dober

As a teenager about 20 years ago, I had an acrobatic kite that I flew under the Verrazano Bridge in Brooklyn. I used to go to the beach with my daughter and it seems that the kites we buy from the local shops break easily, don't work or just get boring. I decided to try this. First impression - it comes in a small pouch which led me to believe they sent the wrong item. It turns out to fit in a small purse, very portable and light! The second impression is that this thing has a million strings! Then how can I be all unenslavable. It was easy. It came off without any tangles but it takes a little patience to make it nice and slow. The third impression - God forbid I read the instructions. I've been doing it all along and I'm the guy, right? So I went straight to the assembly. My advice, read them. If not, it's important to lay the full length lines on the ground and attach handles on each side of the kite and handles on each end of the line. (Don't worry, it took about 2-3 minutes, not difficult). Last impression is that it was very easy to lift the kite with a helper. My wife helped the kite face the wind, I made sure both strings were equally tight and once we got a good gust I pulled. I've done my old 8's in the air and even did a trick where I threw the kite into the sea water at full speed and touched the top of the wave with the tip of the kite (remember I did this many years ago have). So don't go crazy the first time. My recommendation? BUY THIS THING! It's a cheap item but well made. It has everything you need, it's portable, easy to use, beautiful in the sky, I had a small audience in 10 minutes after opening the bag :) The kids loved it (but little kids won't be able to to fly it, just look at it). Oh yes, with a good strong wind it is also a good arm workout! Enjoy!
