Suitable for storing shoes. It wouldn't be great if I had to take these shoes off and on a lot. You really need a solid shelf for that. The shelf is strong enough to hold shoes. Each box is only 9" deep and 9" tall, so if you wear larger shoes, your shoes will not fit. My shoes in the photo are from 8.5 to 9.5. The boots were the hardest to fit into. They kind of get stuck in there, so it wouldn't be very good if I had to take them off a lot. Everything shakes when you put it down. To counteract this, I put the heaviest things on the floor. That gives it a certain stability. Side pockets are available. there? I mean for an extra dollar why not? They are not on all sides, there are few of them. Assembly is simple and intuitive. Simply run the hooks out from the inside of the top case and slide an extra washer onto the hook at the top, then hang it up. I also cut one of the boxes because my closet is too short.
