I bought this USB-C hub to connect my Lenovo Duet Chromebook to a 1080p or better HDMI desktop monitor. And it does a great job. I was able to select any of the available resolutions on my 22" monitor in the settings, including 1080p and 1280p resolutions. (I figured 1280x720p at 60Hz would be best for me.) This was a relief since the adapter I bought earlier only offered a 720p/60Hz connection. Had I done more research before purchasing that first adapter, I would have known that the Lenovo Duet has known issues connecting to higher resolution monitors through most USB-C to HDMI docks if the dock doesn't have the Display capability port. Lots of posters on Reddit and other forums where the posters say the Lenovo Duet just can't drive a 1080p/60Hz monitor. This adapter proves them wrong and I'm glad I found it. But this dock is far from perfect. First, let's talk about the positive aspects. With this adapter connected to my Duet, I can run my 22" HDMI monitor at any supported screen resolution and refresh rate, including 1080p/60Hz and 1280p/60Hz. Hub's USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports work. (I didn't run USB port speed tests, but other Revain reviewers did.) And the dock allows the Duet to recognize and access the SD and MicroSD card slots simultaneously. (Note: I don't have a DisplayPort-enabled monitor, so I wasn't able to test the DisplayPort connection.) So far on this hub, I've only wanted SD and MicroSD card slots that are deep enough to keep memory cards inside the case. Deep card slots make this hub easy to use as a backup drive with high-capacity cards. Unfortunately, the cards stick out. Now the big bad, big sad news: This hub does not offer the PD 3.0 pass-through charging function promised in the product description. When I connect the PD-3 18W charger to the hub and the hub to my Duet or Pixel 3, I get a "Slow Charging" warning. This hub doesn't even conduct enough current to match the Duet's power draw, so I need to make sure my 2-in-1 is well charged before I sit down to use it with this dock. This is a big issue and worth deducting a few stars for. So if you're looking for a USB-C hub to connect your Duet to a higher resolution HDMI monitor, have USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports and an SD/MicroSD card ready. slots, this hub gets the job done. Note, however, that you must charge your Chromebook separately or you will run out of battery. Brief description: 1080p/60Hz and extended HDMI support for two HDMI ports. Hooray! Two USB 2.0 ports and one 3.0 port. Yay!SD and MicroSD card slots that can be used simultaneously. Hooray! No PD pass-through charging for my Duet or Pixel 3. Wow! I really should only give this product three stars, but I won't. I think it's worth something. Four stars and a frown. :-(Pro:* 1080p/60Hz and higher resolution on Lenovo Duet Chromebook.* 2 HDMI ports.* 1 DisplayPort.* 1 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 ports* 1 SD card slot and 1 MicroSD card slot. Both can be used at the same time* Compact, lightweight You can travel with this hub Cons:* Doesn't provide PD bandwidth for my Lenovo Duet or Pixel 3 .
