These bowls are great. They are very light but strong. As a non-stick coating, they are easy to clean. However, I have a disadvantage. I reheated some marinara sauce and now it's blotchy. The bowl wasn't bubbling or anything else was just stained. My favorite is to use them for making instant oatmeal in the microwave. It boils away with other bowls, but this one works perfectly. In general I say buy them and maybe use a glass bowl for your tomato sauce products.
