DO NOT BUY: Habitat Décor

I do not recommend buying this item. It is made from pine wood and the oil released by the pine oil can get into the hamster's lungs and cause breathing problems. This happened to my hamster. Almost immediately after I put him in the hamster cage he started breathing strangely. A week later he was panting every time he took a breath. He was so weak that he could not ride a bike, eat or drink. Stay away from pine and cedar for your hamster
