Great once you get the hang of it

Once you get it right the camera and the app will do! Pros: The quality of the video stream is really impressive. The camera's range of motion allows you to get a really wide view of the room you place it in. Motion detection and app notifications are useful for this. The laser, while a bit delayed, is a nice feature if you're using it on a pet while you're away. . We have a 2 story house and keep this camera in one room. If I'm getting nervous because I haven't seen a cat in a while, I know that just by turning on the laser, she'll come into the room so I can make sure she's still okay! Excellent price. Cons: As others have said, the setup is inconvenient for the user. I'm pretty tech savvy and a little frustrated. Luckily I was able to sort all the reviews on this site. The app you download on your phone to control the camera and access the channel has a terrible UI. It will definitely take some time while setting up the camera to become familiar with the icons in the app so you can see first hand how to control the camera (ie before using it to monitor your home/pet until you don't do it anymore). The laser definitely has a lag, but then again I think it's better than nothing! However, there is one very annoying thing: when I open the application to play videos from the camera, the laser is on by default. My cat loves the laser so it can upset her when she was just hanging out peacefully and now wants to play.
