When you apply this it doesn't feel like anything is happening as it absorbs into the skin almost instantly. GO ON! After a few weeks of use, I understand that it really helps your other products, like your moisturizer and eye cream, to sink better and deeper into the skin. I received this product in a gift bag and slept on it for several months. (I was hesitant to try anything new after quitting birth control and facing new hormonal acne.) Each new product seemed like a breakthrough. Didn't use it until I had to move from LA to London for a few months for work. I decided to give it a try because I knew I needed to add some extra hydration to my travel and climate routine. I'm so glad I did! During my entire 2 month trip I only had ONE pimple on my face during my period. Mind you, I was given HEAVY makeup for the camera every day. It has helped my skin a lot. It balances my dry/oily combination skin and really helps my moisturizer to break through the skin barrier. Don't let the name truffle oil intimidate you either. It doesn't smell and isn't greasy at all!
