This product has a plastic or coated finish that has begun to crack and fall apart. There was a sticky substance that looked like honey on the toy box and on the ball itself. It was scary. I bought 2 of these as Christmas gifts to give to my grandkids and the goo passed both balls in 2 different houses. The first ball was left at my house for my grandchildren to play when they arrived. When I first saw the sticky substance in the toy box, I didn't understand what was going on. It was a sticky puddle from which it was impossible to get rid of completely! It was like nothing I had ever seen before. I had to cover the toy box with contact paper because it wouldn't come off completely. The gooey substance reminded me of fly strips because they stick to everything, but the consistency is more like honey. My other grandson told me the same thing happened to him! His father told him that the ball breaks and disintegrates. We kicked them both out. Lost $40! As a grandmother, I can't afford to throw money away. I will never buy this product again. I honestly don't know who to trust anymore when buying products.
