Disappointed with the scent

I ordered this shower gel because I love the scent of the Mango Body Shop Body Butter. However, this was a big disappointment. While the body butter smells sweetly of ripe mango, it has a bitter, unripe, fruity scent. It looks more like celery than mango to me. Not gross, but not attractive either, at least not to me or anyone expecting the same wonderful scent as a body butter. I definitely wouldn't have bought it if I'd smelled it first. It lathers well but I won't buy it again.
