Sticky like removable tape; no damage or residue

Literally sticky like 1/8" 5x7" double sided tape but removable. So sticky that straight out of the box it stretched and, in this test, my skin too, long before it finally came out. I attached it to the outside of the shiny thin cardboard and pulled it out without damaging it or the block. Rolled it up and it stuck to itself; I pulled hard on the roll to unroll it. So it's as advertised: super and literally sticky. He might survive the motorcycle ride. It has a very strong, chemical, toxic odor; Until it weathers, I test it first, attached to a vertical metal wall with various items attached to it, in my garage at 90*F (no degree symbol available) rather than in my car. See photo. And my last photo in the 45th minute "sticked out" - the plastic handle stuck to it. A heavier pen, phone charger, and notepad are now on the floor. An hour later I picked up the pen and the notebook stayed on the wall with no problem. I then peeled the backing off the wall with the same resistance as a sticky note stuck out of the box the first time - the rug was pulled out of shape until it detached from the metal wall. Zero leftover. If I can figure out how to edit this review after posting it I'll update how long it will take for the smell to dissipate. And then I'll most likely be returning it and keep looking for a non-slip version rather than a literal sticky, sticky pad. A few years ago I bought my favorite anti slip pad on sale at Wmart and then lost it a few weeks ago. I'm looking for a simple 1/8 inch thick, about 4 inch x 6 inch, possibly made of silicone material, non-slip traction pad that can be rolled up without sticking to itself. doesn't literally grab things with sheer stickiness but with slip resistance. Something with weight, and it works better than not enough grip from the box liner material preventing the forks from slipping. Please comment if you know one.
