Cannot select specific file when playing mp3. You have to go through them all until you get to the one you want to hear. If you stop mid-play and turn the radio back on, the file will start from the beginning and you won't be able to fast forward to where you left off. The flash could have been removed in favor of a 5 LED strip in a groove on the back. Dynamo would be better on the left to make room for the normal tuning and volume controls, and the clock shows 24 hours instead of 12. Get used to reading war times. Another reviewer mentioned losing his SD card on the radio. I noticed that there is a hole next to the SD card slot that opens into the radio. Look closely and you will see. It looks like they made the hole too big, leaving a gap that could swallow your card if you're not careful. This is a recommendation. If you can find a Grundig G2 Reporter at a reasonable price, BUY IT! This is shortwave AM VHF with MP3 player. I was lucky enough to be able to buy it at a good price. You can go to the menu and navigate to the file you want to play and all the chapters will play in sequence. You can pause it, turn it off and when you turn it back on, it's still paused. If you missed something, you can come back to that point and fast-forward if you want to skip a segment. These are great little radios. You need a mini USB charger.
