Not suitable for mountain bikes. This is a very wide headlight that does not illuminate the path in front of you. The first 20 feet are easy. Also, it's not bright at all because the light is so wide it's useless. When driving at high speed, especially downhill, the flashlight is extremely inefficient. The picture in the ad is deceptive. I'll keep the flashlight for emergency lighting, but I'll never use it for mountain biking. My old semi-fluorescent LED is far superior to this one as it has a more focused beam. It seems strange that on this 3 lamp fixture at least one of the lamps is out of focus. Badly designed. You will be very disappointed if you go mountain biking.
