Admittedly, at first glance this LOOKS like a real HTC charger and it actually charges my HTC Evo. But it is clear that this is a fake. The label on the cable has the htc logo in the wrong font and the part where it was supposed to be stuck on the cable was wet right out of the box. The part that reconnects looks like the original but the model number is different than the one that came with the phone and has completely different markings on the back. It also heats up VERY quickly. After only plugging the phone in for 15 minutes it felt hot and I unplugged it and went back to my original charger. If you don't mind a fake that looks a lot like the real thing, you've got the job done, then buy it. If you want a quality product, buy something else. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
