True to size but the velcro started peeling off after one pair of socks.
This isn't the kind of shoe you can wear a lot. I think we wore it 2 or 3 times before the Velcro came loose. For white shoes they hold up damn well not to get dirty. Pretty good for the price - I hate spending over $50 on nice shoes only to have them not fit after a few months. The bow is also very cute, adding tenderness.
