If you are looking for a rope belt then look no further! I've had several of these and what sets Vi Vante apart is a little attention to detail. First of all, you will find that the strap material is SILKY smooth when you receive it. You will then notice the amazingly soft skin used when mounted on the camera. Eventually, you'll notice some stretch when you put the camera around your neck. It's really nice and you get what you pay for. Someone commented that the trigger and steering wheel buttons are limited. I find it doesn't work with my use right out of the box. (See attached photos.) When worn as a strap, the leather stretches across the body, making it easy to press the shutter button and I still have enough room for an adjustment ring. If you have very small fingers you can also press the band against your body very easily as it is so soft. After doing this once you can see the strap falling from my last picture. This is to show how easy it is to easily adapt to your needs, rather than rigid and rigid getting in your way. Alternatively (not highly recommended) you can cut and discard the pieces of leather that leave the strap on the body, or leave them separate from the strap on the body to allow the rings to move freely. Otherwise, vi vante makes other leather straps that do not have leather camera protection as the same part of the strap.
