I bought this camera to use as a baby monitor. Setup was ridiculously easy. I set it up and it was up and running in under 5 minutes which was great. I love being able to choose the area you want to be alerted to when you move. This saves me from false alarms when my dog jumps onto the part of the bed shown in the video. What I also like about baby monitor mode is that you can set how loud the sound has to be for the alarm to go off. My dryer is in the bathroom next door and my previous different brand monitor when it worked was triggered by this slight noise so it's so nice to be able to adjust. I also love the fact that I can listen to audio and then switch apps or even lock my phone and still hear the monitor. This is a quality and clear camera, but not one where you can count your child's eyelashes. if you want, but it's understandable. I can see her breathing and see if her eyes are open or if she's in trouble and that's all I care about. I took an enlarged HD screenshot so you can see the quality. I also set it up as a security camera while we were away and turned on motion tracking. I forgot to turn it off before we got home and I got a traffic alert as soon as I walked through the door. And then every time I looked at him, no matter where I moved in the room, he silently moved to point directly at me. Haven't bought multiple cameras yet but love how easy it is to set them up and set them up. show multiple cameras. It's good that there's an ethernet cable if you need (or want) that instead of wifi, but I've settled on using wifi. I received this camera as part of a promotion to give the company my opinion and this is my honest review. I will be buying more of this camera in the future to monitor other rooms in my house for security.
