I have several HIDEit products and am very happy with them. This one is no exception. The included hardware is great although I didn't use it this time as I need shorter screws so I don't have to go through the entire table. I mounted a 2018 Mac Mini vertically on my IKEA desk and it looks great. Keeps it accessible but out of the way. In this orientation there do not seem to be any heat problems. I mention a job and what I saw in another review - since the Mac Mini is aluminum I took great care not to scratch it in transit. into the holder. It doesn't appear to have left any scratches, but I wonder what will happen over time when it's resting on the mounting surfaces. We'll see, but I think a cushion sticker or some kind of vinyl cover might fix this potential problem. As I said, no scratches visible yet! Also, in a setup like mine, there really isn't anything stopping the Mini from sliding forward. When the mount is used on the back of a monitor or on a wall, gravity holds it in place. While it would likely increase the cost and/or complexity of this mount, some sort of lip to grip the Mini on the bottom plate (circle) would help make it more secure. In general very satisfied. There is only one star deduction for these two little things, which could probably be made a little better. But none of this will stop me from buying it again when I need another!
