Give it a try if the old cat likes broths
My 18 year old cat has kidney problems and does not like prescription wet food so is fussy. Basically, she likes liquid wet food, never eats meat. I was looking for cat food that was low in phosphorus, easy on the kidneys and found "chunks". She licked the jelly-like substance around the flesh. Something in her old lady's stomach is better than nothing in her stomach π
