I recently opened an Etsy shop and I wanted to improve my social media presence to get my shop more exposure and this camera is very helpful in capturing the processes I'm photographing . It's nice to be able to put the camera on a tripod or on a counter and just press the record button. The remote control is also useful so I don't have to get up every time I want to start or stop the video - I just keep the remote with me and can control the camera even if it's across the room. I also like the microphone because it controls the noise when I'm outside - it's nice to be able to cut out the wind noise that usually drowns out the video. I would definitely recommend it for beginners - it's easy to use and compact enough to take with you anywhere.
