First, many people express concern that paper stickers are susceptible to water. As long as you hand wash them and keep the stickers dry, this is not a problem. Visually they look great. When the pandemic is over, they're guaranteed to annoy everyone else at your favorite Chinese restaurant. They are not suitable for collecting food. The narrow ends are smooth and round; no texture at all. I think that's one of the reasons they look so cool lit up. However, their smoothness makes them difficult to pluck from (for example) steamed mushrooms. My suggestion, use them for novelty. And when you've impressed/annoyed everyone at the table, turn them off and eat with some regular chopsticks.
