Okay, I must have very unusual kittens. I've tried bell balloons, mylar balloons, corkscrews and they "play" with them, but I found a sparkly pom pom somewhere and they loved it. I bought a pack of stuff and they brought the big ones upstairs and a dog that won't go up the stairs ripped them up. So they took another one and she tore it up. Little ones are either not taken upstairs or the dog doesn't bother them. One of the kittens (2) is actually trying to help herself with this, she knows where I keep it in a ziplock bag in the cupboard and will remove the plastic bag and try to open it, or sit and watch everyone until someone won't help her. or find an existing one. GLITTERED pompoms are the only ones she really likes, regular ones just don't suit her.
