I bought this as a gift for my mum but now that I've taken it out of the box to make sure everything is working properly I can say I'm jealous. You see, I have a similar wall mirror myself, but smaller and unlit. This mirror has three levels of illumination and when set to 100% the light output should be at least 200 lumens. The body of the mirror is made entirely of metal, without a single piece of plastic. 10x mirror face easily unscrews to accommodate 4 AAA batteries. The light ring on both sides of the mirror is activated by simply touching the designated area on the front of the mirror 1x. While I'm sure it would make a great gift I would really like the box to be gift wrapped rather than a plain brown box so I don't have to print out a picture of the item and tape it to the box myself. . Also, with a ring of light on each side of the mirror, I would have liked to see a power button on each side of the mirror. I'm still generally happy and impressed with the build quality and am now considering replacing mine.
