Review on RMP Stamping Rectangle Rounded Aluminum Beading & Jewelry Making for Metal Stamping Tools by Michelle Langley

I'm new to metal stamping and these blanks are great for practicing stamping and for creating my first project: a perpetual calendar for a large family ! (Thanks, Pinterest!) I used a note to write the name and date of birth of each family member (35+ approx) so I had ample opportunity to "rate" the notes. They are well stamped (prints are easy to read) and the weight of the metal is significant (not fragile at all). At this point my project required punching 2 holes in each piece and it proved a little tricky for me - I broke 2 different types of metal punches in the process - BUT once I pulled out the electric drill my life and hole consistency took off improved greatly. Good clean, even holes. I'm embarrassed to admit, when I first received the blanks I was a bit taken aback by what I thought was the back cover - what looked like the annoying misplaced writing on the "back cover" was actually an adhesive label (similar to Duct Band) Protection "front"! (Yes!) It comes off easily once you lift the corner, which I needed tweezers to do. This produced a nice scratch free work area! The price can't be better than what you get. They will be the staple in my project box. Highly recommended.
