They are great for hanging things on the side. I hung small lanterns around the house (I had an 11 day blackout in 2011 and have been preparing for every blackout ever since). I hang them on the inside of closet doors and on the back of furniture. I also hung my keys so I can grab them, and some small trash bags in hard-to-reach places (like around my washing machine to store the trash after cleaning my filter, small towels or dust rags to grab, tools like cardboard) . . a craft knife, pens, a bunch of things I might need in a hurry or just want to have convenient and tucked away. Alarm remote etc etc. They work great and have eliminated so much clutter. a few pounds and the hook is big enough to even hold a pot. Great price without having to get in the car and drive to Lowe.
